The recently upgraded slipway and new workshop facilities make it the largest slipway and the best appointed engineering workshop in the country. Manage by expatriate staff, the slipway performs above and below water works for all type of vessels.

Its client base include fishing fleets,commercial cargo vessels, logging barges,tug boats,landing crafts and passenger vessels.

Avi Avi has invested in a fully equiped workshop to set the standard for quality and value in marine engineering within the South Pacific region. This enables the personnel to do a full range of work including.

* Steel, fitting,machining

* Industrial structural fabrication and heavy machinery welding

* Service and repairs to propulsion systems

* Fitting and machining work to shafts, stern gear,engine room

machinery and deck equipment.

NEW BALLOON SLIPWAY CAPABILITY

In addition to the traditional 3 rail slipway,Avi Avi Marina has invested in specialized marine airbag balloons, This enables extremely large vessels to be slipped and is particularly suitable for dumb barges and other flat bottom vessels.

ENGINE,REPAIRS AND INSTALLATIONS

Capable of major inboard diesel engine and petrol engine repair and servicing.

SPRAY PAINTING

Airless spray painting equipment to fully coat above and below works. Only high quality brands such as International and Jotun paints are used.

HIGH PRESSURE WATER BLASTING AND SANDBLASTING CAPABILITIES

High pressure water blasting with 15,000 Psi capability enables ships to be professionally cleaned inside and out. The slipway also has sand blasting capabilities.

MARINE ELECTRICAL AND REFRIGERATION

Marine electrical services,industrial electrical services,serving and repair electrical generators,motors. Repair and maintenance of refrigeration equipment for fishing vesses.

CREW ACCOMMODATION

Avi Avi has accommodation facilities for crew to live in while their vessels are being serviced.
